कोरबा। लायंस क्लब कोरबा गुरूकुल में 25 मार्च को द इंटरनेशनल एसोसिएशन ऑफ लायंस क्लब्स डि. 3233 सी के डिस्ट्रिक्ट गवर्नर पीएमजेएफ लायन विजय अग्रवाल एवं रिजन चेयरमेन एमजेएफ लायन कैलाश गुप्ता की आधिकारिक यात्रा हो रही है।

लायंस क्लब कोरबा गुरूकुल (लायंस पब्लिक स्कूल खरहरकुड़ा परिसर) में दोनों लायंस अधिकारियों द्वारा लायंस क्लब कोरबा गुरूकुल के पदाधिकारियों की बैठक लेंगे और लायंस क्लब कोरबा गुरूकुल के अध्यक्ष लायन सुरेन्द्र डनसेना एवं सचिव लायन दर्शन अग्रवाल द्वारा स्थायी प्रोजेक्ट एवं सेवागतिविधियों एवं रचनात्मक कार्यों पर प्रजेंटेशन दिया जाएगा और लायंस क्लब कोरबा गुरूकुल के संरक्षक पीएमजेएफ लायन डॉ. राजकुमार अग्रवाल के मार्गदशन में दोनों लायंस अधिकारियों को विजीट कराया जाएगा। लायंस क्लब कोरबा गुरूकुल के अध्यक्ष लायन सुरेन्द्र डनसेना ने सभी पदाधिकारियों को समय पर उपस्थित होने की अपील की है।

कोरबा। चैत्र शुक्ल पंचमी को माँ स्कंदमाता स्वरूपा माँ सर्वमंगला देवी की आराधना में पूरा क्षेत्र डूबा रहा और माँ सर्वमंगला की पूजा-अर्चना करने अलसुबह से रात्रि तक हजारों लोग मंदिर पहुंचकर पूजा-अर्चना कर माँ से आशीर्वाद मांगा। मनोकामना ज्योति कलश प्रज्ज्वलित कराए भक्तों ने अपने-अपने मनोकामना ज्योति कलशों का दर्शन भी किया।
माँ स्कंदमाता को भोग के रूप में केला एवं अन्य फल समर्पित किए और माता से आरोग्य प्राप्ति का आशीर्वाद मांगा।

कल मंगलवार 24 मार्च माँ कात्यायनी स्वरूपा माँ सर्वमंगला देवी की पूजा की जाएगी। माँ कात्यायनी को भोग में शहद और फल अतिप्रिय है। ये दोनों भोग अर्पित करने से एवं पूजा-अर्चना करने से मंगलपरिणय का शुभ आशीर्वाद प्राप्त होता है, इसलिए सौभाग्यकांक्षी युवतियां माँ कात्यायनी स्वरूपा की पूजा करें तो मनोवांछित फल की प्राप्ति होती है और भविष्य सुखद होता है।

Bilaspur/Korba. Shraddha Mahila Mandal, which has been consistently working in the field of women empowerment and social upliftment, has been conferred the prestigious Shakti Samman 2026 by IBC24. The award was presented by renowned actress, former Miss Universe and social worker Ms. Sushmita Sen, and was received by the President of the Mandal and First Lady of the SECL family, Mrs. Shashi Duhan.

Shraddha Mahila Mandal, operated by the women of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), has been actively engaged in social initiatives in coalfield regions since its inception in 2006. The organisation has played a significant role in empowering women and uplifting underprivileged sections of society.

Skill development remains a key focus area, with training programmes in tailoring, computer education and other vocational skills enabling women to become self-reliant. In addition, livelihood support initiatives such as distribution of sewing machines, handcarts, rice mills and e-rickshaws are helping beneficiaries establish sustainable sources of income.

In the field of education, the Mandal supports children from economically weaker sections through scholarships, school kits and bicycle distribution, ensuring continuity in their education. Healthcare initiatives include financial assistance for treatment of serious illnesses such as cancer, along with the organisation of health awareness camps. The Mandal is also actively involved in environmental conservation through plantation drives, distribution of saplings and cleanliness awareness campaigns.
