‘Apni Chaukhat Apna Kachra’ presentation complemented by a health camp for Safai Mitras and a cleanliness walkathon by schoolchildren

Bilaspur/korba 29 September 2026. As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 and Special Campaign 6, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) organised a street play on “Apni Chaukhat Apna Kachra” at its headquarters in Bilaspur today. The performance encouraged people to keep their homes, workplaces and surroundings clean.

The street play urged people to dispose of waste at designated places instead of littering and to make cleanliness a part of their daily routine. Through its theme, it emphasised that cleanliness begins with each individual and that everyone has a role in maintaining clean premises.

As part of the campaign activities, SECL also organised a free health check-up camp for Safai Mitras at the Pink Dispensary in Vasant Vihar. Sanitation workers received health check-ups and medical advice from doctors. The camp aimed to support the health of those who make an important contribution to maintaining cleanliness and to raise awareness about their safety.

A cleanliness awareness walkathon was also organised at DAV Public School, SECL Vasant Vihar, Bilaspur. Children participated enthusiastically and shared the message of cleanliness and a clean environment.

Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 is being observed from 17 September to 2 October 2026, while the main implementation phase of Special Campaign 6 will run from 2 to 31 October 2026. Through the street play, health camp and walkathon, SECL highlighted cleanliness, the health and safety of Safai Mitras, and the participation of children in the campaign.

‘अपनी चौखट अपना कचरा’ की प्रस्तुति के साथ सफाई मित्रों के लिए स्वास्थ्य शिविर और स्कूली बच्चों की स्वच्छता वॉकथॉन आयोजित

बिलासपुर, 29 सितंबर 2026। स्वच्छता ही सेवा 2026 एवं विशेष अभियान 6 के अंतर्गत साऊथ ईस्टर्न कोलफील्ड्स लिमिटेड (एसईसीएल) द्वारा आज मुख्यालय परिसर, बिलासपुर में ‘अपनी चौखट अपना कचरा’ विषय पर नुक्कड़ नाटक का आयोजन किया गया। प्रस्तुति के माध्यम से लोगों को अपने घर, कार्यस्थल और आसपास स्वच्छता बनाए रखने के लिए जागरूक किया गया।

नुक्कड़ नाटक में कचरा इधर-उधर न फेंकने, उसे निर्धारित स्थान पर डालने और सफाई को दैनिक व्यवहार का हिस्सा बनाने का संदेश दिया गया। ‘अपनी चौखट अपना कचरा’ विषय के जरिए स्वच्छता की शुरुआत स्वयं से करने और स्वच्छ परिसर के निर्माण में प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की भागीदारी पर जोर दिया गया।

इसी क्रम में एसईसीएल द्वारा वसंत विहार स्थित पिंक डिस्पेंसरी में सफाई मित्रों के लिए निःशुल्क स्वास्थ्य जांच शिविर आयोजित किया गया। शिविर में सफाई कर्मियों की स्वास्थ्य जांच की गई और चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें स्वास्थ्य संबंधी परामर्श दिया। इस पहल का उद्देश्य स्वच्छता व्यवस्था में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देने वाले सफाई मित्रों के स्वास्थ्य और सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना रहा।

वहीं, डीएवी पब्लिक स्कूल, एसईसीएल वसंत विहार, बिलासपुर में स्वच्छता जागरूकता वॉकथॉन का आयोजन किया गया। इसमें बच्चों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेकर स्वच्छता एवं स्वच्छ पर्यावरण का संदेश दिया।

स्वच्छता ही सेवा 2026 अभियान 17 सितंबर से 2 अक्टूबर 2026 तक आयोजित किया जा रहा है। विशेष अभियान 6 का मुख्य कार्यान्वयन चरण 2 से 31 अक्टूबर 2026 तक चलेगा। नुक्कड़ नाटक, स्वास्थ्य शिविर और वॉकथॉन के माध्यम से एसईसीएल ने स्वच्छता के साथ सफाई मित्रों के स्वास्थ्य एवं सुरक्षा और बच्चों की सहभागिता का संदेश दिया।

Bilaspur/korba. Today, on 29 September 2026, on the occasion of World Heart Day, a Heart Health Awareness Webinar was organized by the Medical Department of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) at the CMD Conference Hall at SECL Headquarters.

SECL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shri Harish Duhan, Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Himanshu Jain, and Director (Technical)–Operations Shri Ramesh Chandra Mohapatra were present at the programme. Heads of Departments, officers and employees of the Headquarters, along with doctors from various areas, as well as Chief Medical Services Officer Dr. Shrutidev Mishra, were also present.

On the topic ‘Prevention and Early Detection of Heart Diseases’, Dr. P. C. Rath from Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, delivered an expert lecture. He provided information on the major risk factors and early symptoms of heart diseases and highlighted the importance of timely check-ups and medical consultation. He emphasized that a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and stress management are important for maintaining heart health.

Doctors and employees from various SECL areas also participated in the webinar through online mode. The programme was conducted by Dr. A. S. Jain.
